Our practices are designed to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health of our members to help them become all-round better athletes, and people. Boxing has becoming increasingly popular for its abilities to provide the best workout and test many of our senses and abilities.
We know the importance of promoting self-confidence and the importance it plays in taking an interest in your well-being. As you learn the art of boxing with us, you will also develop self-confidence; making it possible to build up your self-esteem as you gain experience in this form of self-defence. With us you can learn a new, invigorating skill and achieve serious fitness goals whilst having fun. Our boxing programs can be used for simply keeping fit or beginning a boxing career.
Alongside our boxing routines, we encourage our athletes to live healthier lives along and help them to reach personal goals in healthy living outside of boxing. Boxing has many positive outcomes and we hope to reach as many people as possible with its benefits. We work with individuals, groups and families.
At Middleton Select Boxing Club, our boxing program will see members stimulate all muscle groups and improve in many areas of their physicality, including: muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, power, cardiovascular endurance, aerobic fitness, anaerobic fitness, endurance and physical agility. Boxing is an incredibly demanding sport and there are many areas to discover; we can help you perfect your stance, punches and defence.
When followed alongside healthy eating programs, boxing will assist in the all-important increase of muscle mass and decrease in body fat. Alongside muscular and cardio improvement, boxing will help with co-ordination, symmetry, balance and mental focus – enhancements which will be beneficial in your everyday living outside of boxing.
